At Energy Generation, a mentor brings a critical view to, challenges ideas and gives benevolent advice to the entrepreneurs on their project. The mentor transmits his business leader's knowledge and experience in a proactive way.
He or she can be brought, when possible, to make use of any mean necessary (contacts, networks, resources...) to help at best the growth of the startup.
Under no circumstances does the mentor have a decisional power over the direction of the startup.

BECOMING A MENTOR
Sharing your expertise !
Mentors are enthusastic and voluntary people with a great abilities to listen, discuss and be creative. Their main role is to build a trustworthy relationship with the entrepreneurs.
To be a mentor, you must :

Have at least 5 years of professional experience or a relevant entrepreneurial experience

Be receptive, enthusastic and willing to share your abilities and experience

Be available for working sessions at least once a month and for a 6 months period
NB : The mentorship activity is to be carried in a volunteer way, as no remuneration is planned for the mentors.
